This may seem like a nooby question, and I have already tried some things. I have never used my 3.55 online, I've only used it to data transfer the goodies to my 4.20.

Now im interested in getting it online PSN.. I have tried the 9.99 spoof (Which I believe is only for data transfer) And I have also tried a 4.20 Enabler/Disabler for Kweau... Neither in which have worked, I still get prompted for an update.

PS; The firmware appears to be 4.20 when it's enabled, but I still can't access PSN.

Sony has blocked spoofers trying to get on PSN.

there was a .pkg file PSoN i think it was called (not sure) which allowed us online for a while, unfortunately it sony fixed it and it now prompts for an update, im afraid we are going to have to stick to the data transfer method until something else comes along, hope this answers your question
