for god of war:chains of olympus and they didn't work off the bat which i didn't expect them to so i've fiddled about a bit tried switching different files with my saves but still didn't work.

so i had alook at trying t hex edit it myself and i can't seem to work it out, i've tried following a tutorial that talks about user ids and console ids but i can't seem to find them in the file.

so i was wondering if anyone could give me advice the save file contains a .pfd aswell if that makes a difference.

i've also tried using paramedit and a save file unlocker and neither of them worked either.

upload one of your saves that is not from that game, and I will resign it for you which is what I assume you're trying to do. Hex editing doesn't work anymore.

so does hex editing not work on any games or is it a specific date sort of thing i.e. any made after this date can't be hex'd, also what is the alternative to hex editing then is there only the xploder thing.

fair enough it seems to have worked great, i'll probs pick up a game genie when i next have money then, bit short at the moment as i have like £1k of rent payments to make for uni and no money to make them with till the 17th.
