i should not buy one...
i bought one and it gave me a shitload of problems!
1. the clip didnt fit on the NOR chip
2. my start and eject buttons aren't working any more
3. i've got after the installation 2 times the problem overheating
4. after al this shit it still didnt work

yes that why i was asking for a trustworthy place aswell and i would rather buy an e3 flasher than another ps3

By it from mod chip central. Guaranteed it will work. Haven't had a single issue with mine and I've had it on numerous ps3's downgrading them

yeah ive heard of that website but its awkward because i live in UK it will cost me an extra $30 for shipping

Which site? Modchipcentral is legit. I've bought quite a few things from them. Plus theyre a authorized dealer of the e3 flasher.

Just looked at that site, seems legit. I'm pretty sure the reason it's cheaper Is because it doesn't come with the docking station. At least from what I saw it didn't look like it.
