Its a slim and its on the latest firmware. Could someone help me out? or tell me what I need to buy and do?

Well to jailbreak your console needs to be on 3.55 OFW(official firmware), then you need to install a 3.55CFW(custom firmware). There are three that i know; rebug, geohots and kmeaws. The only way that you can get down to 3.55 OFW from 4.25 OFW is either a E3 flasher or a proskeet. A E3 flasher cost around $80. Both ways you have to pull apart your console. Personal preference would be just to buy a ps3 on 3.55 or lower (on ebay or craigslist) and just install the CFW.

You can only jailbreak your ps3 if your running 3.55 or below so your only two options would be to either downgrade your ps3 with an E3 flasher (not all slims can be downgraded) and this can be a little hard if you don't know what your doing or buy a new ps3.

As crazy_demon_01 says, i would 100% recommend to buy another Ps3 (running 3.55).

To Jailbreak a 3.55 OFW, Youll need a USB & a Custom Firmware, I'd suggest Kmeaws.

Youll then need to install your CFW onto your Ps3 3.55 & other various PKG's like MultiMan etc...

And, let's say, if you want to Mod Cod 5 World At War, You would then need to download a custom patch_mp.ff and install that onto your 3.55. You would then need to Data Transfer the Patch to your 4.25 (that's why its best to have more than one Ps3) :y:
