Sounds like you didnt solder thea correct power for power to the usb

The e3 flaSher has tO be soldered to the ps3.
And once you downgrade you cant upgrade unless you daul boot

Where did you gather your info?

1. It does not need to have anything soldered unless your console is or was bricked.

2. You can upgrade after downgrade. Ive done it many times. Just male sure you go through all the steps after the first downgrade to Rogero.

As for the update not working, did you let your console boot all the way up before pressing start on the flasher? Whats the log say on your sd card?
