I have recently installed Rogero cfw v8.0 and when i try to go back to 3.55 in recovery mode it says 3.72 Software when its 3.55 ofw on my usb, so i updated, because in his license agreement it said i can downgrade from 3.72 but i did not think i was going to 3.72 ofw because i had 3.55 ofw on my usb or is it a spoof? :think: , now when i go to System Information it says System Software Version 3.72 and i was wondering how i go back to 3.55. Thanks ! :confused:

Did you try formatting your PS3 then try updating to 3.55 in recovery mode?

I have seen that sometimes, you will have a disk in the drive and it will contain a system software higher than on the usb and that will be suggested.

Do you know a way around it?

i think i had the same problem i used a spoofer disabler to get to 3.55
