(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); right, as we all know, there is a ps3 emulator for pc, we can now run homebrew on it... so what i was thinking is that, you can buy usb to ethernet addapters, so if you put the usb in the pc and ethernet to ps3 you could data transfer? just spoof your pc so your ps3 thinks its another ps3? maybe i dont know? you guys input?

I think we need to learn a little more about how the emulator works, and how it can be adapted into doing this. I think as of yet there is no XMB at all, and we will need to properly dump the XMB in order to use its features. Encyption / decryption keys for the data transfer will need to be cracked etc.

Could work, but sounds like they are a long way from it...

Some basic homebrew apps dont even work with this emulator yet...

data transfer is a function not a separate entity the calls are made inside the firmware itself so the firmware will have to be fully decrpyted I think data transfer came on the 3.21 firmware

I doubt this would work why? Cause I use to be a pretty big resource in the scene privately for dopsiedra and mathieulh.. That was to backup my knowledge but I believe it would not work because the file system the computer is running on and its method of algorithm's etc. If they emulator was just acted like the PS3 100% we could get a lot of info so much easier.

the homebrew wouldlnt be compatible with the emulaator
