Because back in the day I remember using the awesome file manager and using the BLUS codes to read the location.. So now i just realized I can't transfer patches.. Should I get this one? Everything works normal but it cannot read discs.

it should work like every other ps3 (correct me if iam wrong)
but when you upgrade to 3.55 CFW it should not be a problem, only if the blu ray player is totally missing

If the bluray drive doesnt work u ain't updating unless you find a bbd cfw and ofw. If you can't find one that's legit you have to make one
