Why not just save up money, and go buy an old PS3 from a Pawn Store. Go in, ask for their oldest PS3 they have in stock, and make them check the firmware before you purchase. It's what I did at Gamestop. I told them I wanted a 3.55 system so I could back up games. :lol:
