Best thing to do and is recommended is to uninstall things like spoofs,fuckpsn then go back to 3.55ofw and then update to the 4.21cfw as ive said ngu or myself are not responsible for your ps3 getting bricked

yes that has already been posted on here somewhere but you can downgrade from the 4.21cfw to 3.55 again

Someone please confirm who tried or knows that it bricks at 100%.

€: factory firmware was 3.41, I still know because I drooled over it when I realized it's able to get jailbreaked. :pedo:

I dont want to risk it, dont want to brick my 3.55 PS3 :mad:
I hope there will be an fix/another way or whatever..

I already did it. Worked!

Activated my Fifa13 Online Pass and Bioshock 2 DLCs, no problems.

Haven't been able to activate in 3.55 because of the old store I think.

After Testing with some bricked Slim consoles ( from updating to CFW4.21 ) with different friends and testers around the world,
I can confirm that Bricked consoles can be recovered back to CFW3.55 even if you didn't have a NOR Dump/Backup .


Requirements are:
1- a Hardware Flasher so you can read/write to the PS3 NOR flash
2- A Dongle with PSgrade payload (any old jailbreak dongle + PSGrade hex will do) used to Enter Factory Service Mode (FSM)
3- Rogero CEX3.55 v3.7 PUP

hey man do you know if CECHG 03 is safe?

yeah from what i saw n read its safe and should be fine

would i by any chance be able to do this with my ps3. i have on there now 4.21 ofw. i used to have 3.55 jb but took it off about 5 months ago. can i go from 4.21 ofw to 4.21 cfw like we used to be able to from USB update?
