Basically, I was trying to get online with a 3.55. I half-transferred the vsh.self file and I got the RSOD. Now my ps3 is fucked and wont show on the screen. I tried using the recovery menu to re-install 3.55 OFW but after it's prepared it says something about 3.70? I just cancelled it as I don't want to upgrade. If anyone can help I'll be willing to pay :p

You get prompted to update to 3.70 because you have a game in your ps3 that requires 3.70+ to play it. Simply take the disk out and then try to reinstall your cfw.
