I have a question...

One of my friends decrypted his hard drive, viewed the files and added a patch and hosted on mw2 for like a month and he told me and showed me most of it!!

I want to know if i can do the same thing as him without a cfw or ad dons like jail breaking or taking apart my PS.

Like i decrypt a hard drive i have a 320gb and put patches in the folders for the games that the PS makes originally like when you get a fresh hard drive put into your ps3 and start it up and update and i start up mw2 on bypass and host??.

But when i try to view files it is all decrypted and i think its all hexed (No letters or numbers, just symbols)
PLEASE HELP!! I just want to host for myself and maybe a best friend or two for fun!

PS: I have a external hard drive casing so that i can plug the HDD into my Windows

PSS: I just want either a tool/ program/guide to decrypt it

I Hosted a while ago then i screwed up my 3.55 ps3 and had to update and sell so thats why my username on youtube in TheMegaHackMaster. I use to host not anymore.. that is why i asked this question

you need linux capability for hdd decrpytion and you need to be on 3.55 or lower for linux

You could get someone to data transfer you either local of through himatchi. This will pretty much do the same thing that you are wanting to do.<

Do you know of anybody doing that for free??
