(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I cant use any homebrew or games, I believe my motherboard cant detect BD drive because Ive tried other BD and other cables, I already did a hard reset to PS3 and everyting...
It is posible to use PS3 without BD?

yes i think the latest multiman emulates bd drive on a usb pendrive you have to be on rebug 4.21 rex.If your bd drive is faulty you need to buy a new drive and remarry it with your ps3 via cfw 3.55/.41 only.
Multiman ver is 4.10 that does the emulation stuff but you need to plug in your pen drive always for it to work!!!

You still have the original blu ray and logic board (it is attached under the blu ray), original blu ray is not needed but will help avoid problems. So since you can't run homebrew and I don't know if you have a dongle, install Rebug 3.55.3 and get into factory servicemode and remarry you're logic board and then exit fsm and you should now be able to run homebrew unless you're logic board is broken. If you need more details quote me.

So to get things clear first I install rebug,(wich will install FSM) then I open FSM and connect the blue ray while everything is running,...done right?.
I had same problem weeks before but after connecting and reconnecting the blue ray it worked, but then Ive messed up again.

I have 2 3.55 ps3. One without a blue ray drive or the thing under it. If I put the blue ray in the other one with the logic. I guess my question is if I use the logic board from my other 3.55 onto the one without the blue ray will it work.

If not, could you explain again what I do for the multiman bd drive emulator?

What do you mean by pen drive? And do I need the blue ray drive in order for this to work?

pen drive means a normal usb stick/flash dive,you just need 512mb for this emulation to work
nope blueray drive is not needed but must have a working logic board which is married to the PS3.
DUMMY_BDEMU tricks the ps3 into thinking your bluray drive is working and hence every game works disc-lessly

since you are on 3.55 dont go into the hassle of remarrying bd drive its too complicated update to 4.21 rex and use multiman 4.10 rex edition.
here are the steps
Needed:
* PC and PS3
* USB stick/drive (512MB minimum size)
* Disc Image Generator Software (ps3gen)
* PLAYSTATION3.iso Dummy BDEMU image
* 4.21CFW REBUG (REX) operating in DEX mode with DEX lv2_kernel (FULL DEX MODE)

* Connect a USB HDD to be used for BDEMU
* Start “Awesome faceisc Image Generator for Playstation3″ (ps3gen)
* Click “Show” button in the top right-hand corner
* Click “Select File…” button
* Locate and select “PLAYSTATION3.iso”
* Click “Save / Emu …” button
* Select “Write Image to BD Emulator HDD”
* Select your BDEMU USB HDD
* Pick a slot from the list and click “Write Image”

=====

On your PS3 with 4.21REX CFW and multiMAN 04.10.00 installed:

* Install “Rebug Toolbox 02.00.00″ and launch it
* In SELECTOR: REBUG MODE / DEBUG XMB / DEBUG MENU
* In DEX/CEX: Flash your DEX EID0 NOR/NAND file (DEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN or DEX-FLASH.EID0.NANDBIN file on /dev_usb000 stick)
* Quit Toolbox and reboot your PS3
* In XMB “Settings” go to “Awesome faceebug Settings” and set “Blu-ray Disc Access” option to “BD Emulator (USB)”
* Turn off your PS3
* Connect the BDEMU USB HDD drive/stick to the right-most port (/dev_usb000) – the port closest to the BD-ROM drive
* Turn on your PS3
* You should see “PLAYSTATION(R)3″ Game Disc mounted in XMB Game column
* Start multiMAN 04.10.00+, load a game from internal HDD or external USB HDD connected to another port. Do not unplug the BDEMU USB drive.
* Start your game from the Disc Icon in XMB.

Well, for your question from what I know, logic boards are for that ps3 only and if you remarry it to the other ps3 then your secon ps3 can lose its blu ray functionality, so you probably won't be able to play blu rays and ps3 games, but are your ps3s the same model? And if they are compatable then you.could buy a logic board that is compatable and remarry it so you can just switch blu rays. Any other questions ask.

When you install rebug 3.55.3 and then Rebug toolbox 2.00.00 from package manger under game directory than install from hardrive option and then run the app you go through the options until it says boot into service mode or something similar.
EDIT: I had forgotten going to service mode in 4.21 either doesn't work or isn't safe, so you need to go on rebug 3.55.3
