The only thing I could think of that I did wrong is install the downgrade firmware from recovery than from the xmb like the tut reads (i forgot). After you install the downgrade firmware you're supposed to install 3.55 OFW, but my PS3 wont let me as it's looking for a 4.40+ firmware. I even look on YouTube and in that video it says to install a 4.40+ firmware but he installs a 3.55. Please help. I'll pay for your time ($3) ?

you need to set qa flag. then you can install any firmware through recovery.

you cannot downgrade using a PUP its not possible the only way that you can downgrade is to buy an e3 flasher or progskeet and then you can downgrade.
