I also heard though you need to have a 3.55 cfw ps3 just to use 4.30 cfw? is that true? cause i would like to jailbreak my ps3 i have been waiting for a while to but i dont wanna buy a flasher or anything and get to crazy with it. also if i can just jailbreak it do can i start to use things like eboot and things like that to host zombie mods and xp mods and stuff? nope you are out of luck bud you need a 3.55 ps3 as of now try ebay or other sites most sellers have 3.55 mentioned when they sell their ps3.

Unfortunatly, you need 3.55 to get 4.30CFW running on your console, because 3.55 is the only firmware were we got the private key for (METLDR),
So how does this work
The 4.30 firmware gets decrypted with all the leaked codes (bootldr lv0-2 ands so on)
Than they can mod it and encrypt the firmware with 3.55 keys,
If we ever find the private key of 4.30+ (not stored on console) than we have 4.30 CFW for OFW

If you don't want to flash by yourself, then you can pay someone to do it for you. There should be downgrade services on eBay, but only look for ones that are very reliable or have high ebay feedbacks. Good luck!
