Editing your game's TROPUSR.DAT to unlock trophies or change the timestamps will work and the new timestamps / trophies will show on your offline Trophy collection. The problem is, when you try to sync, you will be prompted with a PSN error. Showing you trophies and timestramps are what TROPUSR.DAT does.
Why are you getting this error? That's because you didn't edit your game's TROPTRNS.DAT file to match the hacked TROPUSR.DAT file. What does this TROPTRNS.DAT do? It involves the REAL trophies data and it's also used for syncing with PSN.
But good luck with that because TROPTRNS.DAT is fully encrypted. Currently, there's no public tool that allows us to decrypt and re-encrypt this certain file.
Hm, ok...Let me explain it another way. So maybe it works or there can be another way!?
1. I play a game with modded gamesave (ofw,xploder).
2. At a special point i get three trophies for killing someone
For example kill 50/100/500 enemies...
3. Damn, after a look in the collection: i see that the trophies were earned at the same time...I wan't to change it to look legit...
Right!? Now, i'm going to use another ps3:
the trophies are not synced, so i haven't earned them in the same game till now.
1. I change the time on ps3 ( on which way in the settings)
2. start the game till the trophies popped
3. after getting the first of the three trophies, i turn of the power switch of the ps3.
4. I turn on the ps3 and put the save again from usb to ps3
5. change the time again
6. do the same way for the second trophy and so on...
You know, what I mean?
I change anyway the time on ps3 without connecting the internet and then i adjust the time BEFORE the time i earned the trophies on the first ps3!?
Is that explaination better?
