It's the Uncharted 3 edition ps3, and I just bought an e3 flasher, dongle, mini sd, and flash drive.. did I waste my money, or is it possible to downgrade this system. Btw, it came out before November 2012, and I've read that that was where un-downgradeable consoles started coming out... but still, can I downgrade my ps3??

You need to know the model of the ps3 in order to tell if it is compatible with the e3 flasher.

How do I find out which model it is?

It is located on the back of the ps3 under the barcode. It will most likely start with CECH

I found it on the bottom of the ps3. Its a CECH-4001B, and I looked it up online. It's considered a super slim. Did I waste my money?? :/

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the super slims aren't compatible with the e3.

Well, time to sell the uncharted edition and buy a regular slim off someone.. Just wasted 400 bucks on the wrong ps3. Fml.

Make sure it is compatible with the e3 flasher because not all slims are. And can't you just return the ps3?

I bought it about a month or two ago from best buy. My returning time is up, so I'm gonna have to use ebay I guess.
