well i just put an add on gumtree.com (its like ebay but local if u didnt know!)
im selling my 3.55 Phat for $365 and this dude randomly says , "i will really like to buy this because is the kind i am looking for so am impressed to offer you $500 for it, i am at!"
Then he goes on about his job that he cant come get it, but his pick up agent will come get it!
then "kindley provide me your name and full address!"

so i just thought this sounds just a little sus!
like dnt wana sound stupid but what if it was like some dude working for sony and he wants to pre tend to buy the console and get my address then fukn fine me an take my console!!!an also y would some1 wana pay $500 when the price is clearly just $365

This sounds like a scam dude only because this happened to me with the new iPhone on Gumtree. he offered me £500 and the price was only £320. he then said about not being able to collect it and asked would i accept Paypal. he then sent me a fake Paypal email and it looked legit, but i found out by there email when i goggled it i found it was an Algerian scammer. they want to fool you into thinking the moneys in your Paypal then ask you to post it. It does sound like this to me and if he also wants to contact you outside gumtree then this is a scam.

Yeah, that guy is trying to scam you. Don't waste your time to even write back to him. No one, and I mean no one, is going to offer you more than what you were asking. You ever go into a store and tell the clerk you wanted to pay a hundred dollars for a 60 dollar video game?
