I have a slim on 4.31 OFW.

Do you recommend doing it by E3 Flasher?
Shall I just buy a 3.55 PS3?
What is the safest CFW that won't get me banned and can it go online?

(P.S - The main reason I want to jailbreak is for MW2 lobbies)

well i would buy a 3.55 system if i was you.
then you can install cfw using a simple usb, kmeaw's cfw is good
if you need a tutorial on how to host mw2 i can write one, but there are thousands on this site, so until you get the 3.55 system dont worry about it.

buying a 3.55 of course it saves you time from having to go into your ps3 while taking it apart

bro just get a whole new ps3 on 3.55, i bought mine from radio shack like 4 months ago, (second one) and it was on 3.55 so you may have some luck if the boxes are on display look at the dates well atleast my box had the date it was before.. april i believe so just test your luck
