Yeah if you get into FSM in 3.55+ you will be stuck, it doesn't matter about the fact that the new cfws are based on 3.55, as on Rebug they took out the feature on 4.21.1 as they don't think it is safe and will probably get stuck.

That's the CFW I'm using now. I figured they took it out for a reason. I have a friend with semi-bricked PS3 on 4.30 CFW. I know FS mode would fix it with the method I use. This method has only been tested on 3.55 or lower. Thank you.

Their is a way to unbrick on rogeros 4.21 cfw so it could work on 4.30, I don't know where the tutorial is though.

Yes I know that one. Similar to the method I use, but it requires an E3 flasher.

Yeah I forgot about that, do you have one? As I want to get one for my phat ofw but do't know how hard they are to install.

I have one. Very simple to install and use. Mine is on a slim and a phat is much easier to disassemble. Do you have a Nor or a Nand flash on your PS3? Check your model number here ------> You must login or register to view this content.

So easy a Swamp Man could do it. LOL
