hello. im not sure but i read something about when playstation 3 is on original firmware 4.30/4.31 there is no way to jailbreak without hardware flasher.
usb way only work till 3.55 ho i read in this forum.

Read before you ask dude 3.55 and lower are vulnerable. Newer firmwares are encrypted.

Your best bet is to either buy another PS3 on a lower firmwear (3.55 or lower) or buy an E3 flasher and downgrade your PS3 that you have now. If you dont know to much about an E3 flasher, there are threads on here that explain it but honestly i would go with just getting a secound PS3.

You must know first if your PS3 can be downgraded to 3.55 firmware before purchasing an E3 flasher.
