Is it outdated? I think it may be because some sources say that it is obsolete and that you need a specific USB Dongle to downgrade your PS3 (such as the E3 Card Reader or PsBreak).

...but then again, some say it is not out of date.

I have the TI-89 Titanium calculator and I was wondering if I could use it OR if I could use any other of the devices listed in the link.
