Hello, so i recently bought a 80GB Backwards Compatible 4 USB port PS3 (CECHE01) for $10 lol, but it had the YLOD. So,

i tried the oven fix and it actually worked! so anyways, it was working perfectly fine for like 20 mins. untill i tried

updating it straight to 3.55 kmeaw from 3.30 (i know bad idea! i didnt know you had to update to 3.55 OFW first then

CFW)so while performing the update i got an error around 79%it asked to restart the ps3 so i did and everytime i would

restart it it would start updating again automatically. so i went into recovery mode to try and stop it and go back to the

xmb menu but i cant! everytime i hit any option on the recovery mode list the ps3 just turns off after a few seconds and

when i try updating from recovery mode it just gets stuck on "checking" so now everytime i turn on my ps3 it just

turns off after a few seconds the light goes back to red (no blinking, NOT the YLOD) ...the ps3 can only be accessed in recovery mode! and cannot go into the xmb menu!
