I have a ps3 on OFW 4.30. I looked at the E3 Flasher on internet and decided to downgrade to 3.55. I know how to downgrade and that. I readed that you can only install some CFW's. I want KMEAW because i personally thinks it is the best CFW and you can spoof it to version 9.99 . I saw on another site that you cant install KMEAW directly when you downgraded to 3.55 and people said that they bricked their ps3, but they said it was a way to install KMEAW. You need a package called Qa_toggle or something like that. I didnt see any tutorial and looked through internet and found some small steps, but i didnt understand. So please can anybody explain how to do!!

PS. Can you install a version 9.99 or 4.30 spoofer on geohots CFW?

After you downgrade correctly then you would QA Flag your PS3 for a safe upgrade. Downgraded PS3's also need to be dehashed so you should maybe do it like this QA Flag PS3>>3.55 OFW in recovery mode then 3.55 KMEAW in recovery mode for safest upgrade.

i'm not sure about the Geohot FW with the 9.99 Spoofer. This only gets you online and will not run the latest game keys. So then i would recommend you to just Upgrade to Rebug or Rogeros new 4.30 CFW with build in spoofers and PSN Access Hope it helps

Thanks bro!!! I found a site that does the whole downgrade for you, so i am taking my ps3 to them. They are only getting it back to 3.55 OFW. So when i got 3.55 OFW i just QA Flag it and then through recovery menu 3.55 KMEAW? How should i do because they are giving me the ps3 with 3.55 OFW? I dont have the E3 flasher things, so i cant downgrade lower on What FW can i QA Flag my ps3?

Always use Recovery menu. ah right ok so when you get it back it will need to update to 3.55 kmeaw cfw with USB etc, then after that install the QAflag.pkg and run it, then u are safe to upgrade from 3.55 or any other 4.21 fw + Yes always use

Thanks! i read that if you install 3.55 kmeaw right after they had downgraded to 3.55 it will brick, i first need to downgrade to Rogero 3.72 CFW then QA Flag, Downgrade to 3.41 and then update to 3.55 OFW and then 3.55 KMEAW I will use Rogero 4.30 CFW if i can host Mw3 XP Lobby and use 1.11 Patches on Mw2. So can i do that on Rogero 4.30 CFW?
