I know you are new but please try to first do research on the topic and then secondly create 1 master question thread. Not all these little ones you are creating. To answer all of them:

1) 4.XX CFWs MUST be installed over 3.55, can not go from 4.30 ofw to 4.30 cfw
2) To downgrade please consult the downgrading forum in the PS3 modding section. It is stickied at the top.
3) Yes the mods should work because they are not eboots therefore are like CoD patches and can run on any CFW + OFW.
