for factory service mode i am using a psp 3004 with 6.60 PRO-B10.
i plugged the psp with the jig running in the farthest right usb port, power cycle my ps3 and do the power-eject button combination.

the psp then says:

requesting jig challenge...
challenge recieved: 00 01 FF FF 2E 02 01 AA 0E 0F...
calcultaing response...
sending response: 00 01 FF 00 2E 02 02 AA AA 7D...
sent response: 00 01 FF 00 2E 02 02 AA AA 7D...
done.

but still my ps3 boots with the screen sayin:
connect the controller using a usb cable, and then press the PS button.

this occurs every time i try to boot it in factory service mode:mad:

what the flying fck am i doing wrong here?
any ideas?

dude post your problem on ps3hax there are a couple of very experienced downgraders on there be polite im sure they will help.
