My PlayStation 3 has never been jailbroken or modded before.
It is a slim PS3 250 GB. Running 4.31.

If your one 4.31 you need to Downgrade it to 3.55. There is no way to just Jailbreak it On firmware above 3.55, well at least that i know

You need a E3 Flasher if u want to jailbreak your PS3.

you either need to downgrade with E3 Flasher or buy a 3.55 online and data transfer to that ps3.
