(OFW) Would there be anything I could do to fix it or would I have to buy a new one/downgrade it and unban it? Or when you do a full restore of the ps3 does it give you a new one? Because that would make sense as say someones id got banned on there ps3 on CFW and they restored it back to OFW and had no stuff then they could play again?

Do not give anyone your console ID. That is just plan stupid especially if they get it banned because you'll have to go through unnecessary steps to temporarily unban your console... or end up buying a new console. Don't do it...

Also about the whole "if they restored it back to OFW and had no stuff then they could play again?" the short answer... no. The long answer.. no. That will have no affect on changing your console ID or anything. You will still be banned no matter what.
