(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well my friend Brought a 3.55 ps3 from Ebay and received it yesterday but he could not get it to turn on just a black screen but first i checked to see if it was the av cables and changed to hdmi but no change but then i tryed to go into recovery mode with the av cables n it worked? tryed system restore but no change does this sound like a bricked ps3 or is there anything we can do?

Press the first option when in recovery menu when on av cable, go to display settings then hdmi output at same time when connected with hdmi

Restart system? and how do you think i going to be able to display settings when all you get is a blank screen?

When you turn the ps3 on keep the power button held down until it beeps for a second time

Go in recovery menu then restart which is first option then connect hdmi then go on display settings trust and use hdmi
