The part right before you use the dongle you are supposed to get a screen that says connect your controller correct? Well in my case I am not getting this screen and have not skipped any steps with the e3 flasher, and without it I can't use my dongle yet. Any answers/suggestions would be appreciated.

You can't Jailbreak a OFW above 3.55. If you're over 3.55,
you have to downgrade with Hardware.

don't try to install 4.30 Jailbreaks. They are always fakes & they can brick your PS3.
so let it be and wait.
