well i have a mac i still get fast speed with wired try not 2 copy like lare files or a large quantity of it because it over floods ur internet traffic on ur PS3 DNS issues.... + signs u out if signed in...

and i don't get 10mbs i get around 40-80 mbs....

using a 5 port gigabit switch with a DCHP router D-Link $300+

and i have every thing staticaly set besides phones and ipods. but PS3 and PC's + Mac all static Ip Addressed with DMZ Mode port forward 2 PS3 all open Nat no issues + UPNP enabled...
