(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi guys i am totally new to the ps3 modding scene, i used to have jtagged xbox which i did myself, i gave up the xbox for the ps3 how ever i was just a "script kiddie" i am looking to do the ps3 my self and become a modder righting my own scripts and releasing my own stuff instead of using every 1 Else's

This is where i need help i don't want to be spoon feed the information i don't mind being told what to look for myself but i have been looking into for a week and still haven't got a clue what to do, because i don't know what to search for.

I'm interested at the real time modding for the time being, i know you need DEX firmware is it possible to do from retail ps3 slim that is up to date and online at the moment

And any info on the offsets would be grateful (not asking for the offsets them self just what to look for or how to test them out something along them lines :s)

I am not going to ask lots of questions just them two and if any 1 knows of any information that can help me learn about the ps3 modding scene please share it (remember i know basically nothing), there are so different articles on the same thing i am not sure which ones to read and follow eg unbanning your ps3, how to install dex from cfw,psid patcher, clearing history, its crazy lol

I know its going to take time, just need pointing in the right direction, but we all have to start some where

I am more than happy to buy one, just need some information on getting started, i am gonna make this my new hobbie for sure seems like a lot of fun.

so the first thing i need to do is go out and get a 3.55 fw ps3 (i just looked and i might be able to downgrade using e3flasher or progskeet i will look into that some more later)
