(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys! I need some help over here. My PS3 is not working well, as the title says. I've been playing fine until 1 week before going on holidays it began freezing and getting stuck with the Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Specially, in the Turbine map that got stuck in the first 1/7 of the bar, I've waited almost 1 hour and a half the first few times this happened to work, but it was always the same, I had to turn off the console by pressing the button for 20 secs. It all began with this, I think.
I went on vacations 2 weeks, then came back and yup, first thing I try is if it works now. All maps fine, except Turbine. Happened the same, so I decided to stop playing because I didn't want my PS3 to be fuked up by a single game. So, I started the Assassin's Creed: Revelations, which I've never played before. I played the whole story fine, no problems, did all the single player trophies except the "Sage" (the one of having all books) I've spent a lot of time gathering up the money, and one time I go to the bank it froze. I turned off the PS3, sleep, etc. The next morning, turn it on, load up the game, and was in the same place near the bank, moved two steps, froze again, and keeps like this until today.
Then, 1 week ago I played 5 hours non-stop with a friend in MW3, nothing happened, don't know why this random-game-only-freeze happen. Now I can barely play BO2 for 1hour straight without freezing, if I don't get the turbine map before. I can't finish my trophy hunting on Assassins Creed. And now I'm afraid of turning it on because I don't want to fuck it up completely. I don't get YLOD, no anything, just this random fucking freezings.
Please help me :(

Today Will Be Different
I have a friend who cannot play BF3 on certain maps because it will freeze on him. However I don't think it was his PS3 causing the problem because he went out and bought a new copy of BF3 and it worked perfectly fine. Sadly you might have to send your console in to Sony and tell them about the problem since they will be the only ones who know how to fix it.

Did that only with the Black Ops II, it continued the same. The strange thing is that works perfectly fine in my brother's PS3.

Wired.

I've cleaned the Disc and what do you mean by hover the vents? I should use a low power vacuum cleaner or use the self-ventilating method of PS3?
