I just installed the geohot's cfw on my phat 3.55 and downloaded the spoofer on site, but everytime I try to start the spoofer my ps3 crashes. Is there anyway I can remove geohots cfw to install another cfw? and if the answer is NO. can someone please explain why my ps3 crashes after running the spoofer I downloaded from here also the geohot spoofer thanks alot. and sorry for any bother I may be causing

yes you can install an other cfw
but first unspoof your ps3 if u spoofed it
then run toggle qa if u did it right u should be able to get install packages under internet settings
then install 3.55 ofw through recovery mode
then install the cfw u want (through recovery)

I'm sorry im kind of new to this, I did install the spoofer, But never got the chance to run it since it crashes, so I can simply delete it correct? and Lost me when you said "run toggle qa" I do see the install packages but its under "Game" on the dashboard not under internet settings. and another question before I go on and remove anything. can I just delete the spoofer and install a different one besides the geohot's? or does it have to be the same as the cfw? btw i updated from geohot 3.55 to rex rebug 4.21 without using recovery mode just from XMB but if u want to be sure install it from recovery mode....

Don't get me wrong, Geohot is a genius & his PS3 CFW & iOS jailbreak were good before. But now, they suck if you compare them to the other ones.
