Post: Console Id Theory!! Please I need someone's input?

Hello NGU I have a simple theory that I hope someone can help me on!
Now before people freak out, this thread is not requesting or selling a Console ID as that is against the NGU Policy!
Theory: A while ago when Fckpsn was working I decided to jump in and use it since, I have never used it before and I had just bought a CFW ps3!
**Note** This Ps3 was not Banned in any way Console or any accounts! **Note**
I saved the original CA27.cer as .Bak
So in theory could I go back and and use the original file to go online since it is not banned?

I dont know shit, but i doubt it because i dont think i was using any1 elses cid from changing CA27.cer so it wont be "banning" anything to do with that file.... but i could be wrong

ur console id is in the flash.bin file all the ca27 file did was spoof to use on 4.20 or whatever fw it was at the time and when we was using fckpsn they release a console id built into it so no one would get console ban when using it it would just ban the id in it

When my ps3 was recently banned I obviously was not using fckpsn so I guess it was my actual console id that was banned. Ahh well a guy can speculate can't he lol thank you!

I think the only way to locate the console id on ofw is to decrypt the archive files which are located in a backup, The reason i say this is cause when you do a backup it only works with the console you done the backup from and if you give the backup to someone else it will only load the users and not the game data, but now if you have someone else console id and you put their console id in your ps3 and then back it up and send it to them they can restore it and the game data will work, so I really think the console id has to be stored in the archive's...
