when i turn it on it says Connect storage media that contains update data of version 3.40 or later...

So i put 3.55 OFW in and i get error 8002f255

Ive put in a different hard drive from my other ps3

Can Anyone Help...

When you dropped it may have screwed up whatever flasher you had in it.

Well the 3.55 OFW in my thread is CEX 3.55 OFW, my understanding is you are stuck in DEX kernel mode so it may be giving the error here. I don't quite know what to do in this situation, except to try this = You must login or register to view this content.
I don't know if it will work seeing as how you arn't truely DEX and you were on 4.21 but this sounds like the hard drive had an error so hopefully it does work. Use at your own risk! Maybe ask around a bit more to be more certain.
Tell me if it works and I'll add it to my thread with a tutorial.
