(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When you send in your ps3 to Sony to fix i believe they use a private key that allows access to the ps3 maybe if somebody who was advanced in this topic could do some network sniffing or dig through the system files with a cfw ps3 to find the private key that allows access for FTP as the ps3 will refuse connection without it. Don't groan if I'm wrong here.

im sure they do cause they run program and stuff on the ps3 to see what the problem was when u send it in but idk what it is or what it could be

I was trying to see if i could find a way top ftp to it i thought maybe it could be a hidden option in the ps3 and i was looking at the ftp program and it asked for a private key/fingerprint so that could be it?
