(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); for the last 4 days now i've been trying to get my Killzone 3 (40GB) to work from my external HDD.

I'm now trying via BDEMU but i'm able to get it install (get an error when installing).

I'm running Rebug 4.21 CFW DEX.

can anyone tell me how to get DBEMU working with multiman (V4.20) or another way to get killzone3 and the other games working from external?

Just make sure you select from the BDEMU BDMIRROR and external.

I had the same sort of issue with Uncharted 3,it used to work this way, but for some reason, with MM 4.20 it has to be de-selected for the game to load and run.

Check that the BDMIRROR is selected and the RUN from EXTERNAL option is selected, if they are, untick them and try again.

Worked for me.

if the game says split, that means it has big files (bigger 4gb) those kind of games cant be played from external. they can only be stored on external hdd. to play it you need to copy it over to internal hdd

They can be played from External, the only problem is that it will install some of the game files everytime you launch the game.

They are split because of what the guy said in the above post.
You should still be able to play the game, but it will install the game every time you run the game.

I will run it only for one time (to test it propably)

but how I can run from external hdd without copy them to the internal hdd because you know its size is very huge and I have a lot of games like that.

I've never had a split game install itself every time :p. It just installs once.

You can't run from your external. Your external is formatted to FAT32 which can only take 4 gigs or lower. The PS3 will only read FAT32 so you have to transfer to internal. There is no workaround.

even the games that take 4 gig or lower

I take (Drift Game) as example

as you see all files are under 4 gig

You must login or register to view this content.

the whole game size is about 6 gig

is that normal?

When you copy the game to your external it changes the extension of the 4gig files to 666.00x. Notice those are all the same size. It's one file just cut into pieces so it will fit on you external but it isn't playable in that status
