Sorry to bother you with these questions, but to find out I really need to ask them!

First of all, I'm very very new to this kind of 'Modding' and 'Jailbreaking'.
I have a PSP slim with CFW and a jailbroken Ipad.. but those doesn't compare to a Jailbroken/modded PS3 if I may believe the forum.. X_X

But now my questions:
Are the pros greater/larger then the cons?
As I've read numerous times on this forum, people warn you about not going online and stuff..
But then on the other hand people make real-time modding tools for online gaming..

I mainly want it to get advantage at CoD BO2 and maybe Fifa13..
And then just to get a slight advantage on my prestige and/or level comparing to my friends (I'm a bad loser :troll, and thought of maybe messing around with ammo and stuff..

I was trying to figure this out by scrolling trough posts here, and so far I've come to the conclusion I need to 'EX'-up my PS3 for these real time modding stuff..

But.. Is it worth it for just 1 or 2 games? Or do you guys then say.. grow some balls en just play the game fair?

Well this depends solely on the fact that you understand the process of getting to CFW and DEX CFW. I seen you thanked my firmware thread so I take it you have done some research on the matter.

1st off, BLOPS 2 modding will get you banned almost immediately in most cases so if you want to do this the you have to understand that even if you do all the preventive measures, you will almost always get banned within a few days. Yes you do need to be DEX to RTE. Fifa13 is easier to mod without being banned, mainly Sony looks for people who make games unenjoyable for others like someone flying around with godmode in COD or cheating there rank while others have to work for it.

The cons are only as severe as you make it, I have a DEX console and have been online MANY times and have never been banned, I do all preventative measures possible to keep this from happening. Game back-ups, mods, no cinavia, RTEing, etc. are all pros to jailbreaking your console but bans are the cons and you need to decide whether or not you can put up with this.

About BO2 modding.. Do you mean like if you use it a few days? Or after first usage?
Because I wasn't planning on doing it so obvious that the see me flying trough the sky.. I wouldn't dare to do that..
I'm fairly capable of easy cheating as I've done it with loads of mmorpg on the internet without getting banned. I kind of know when to stop !

But if it's immediatly.. then I'm in doubt that I should do CFW stuff..

If it's only for Fifa.. then I can live with it..

Maybe just search for an XP lobby then? X_X

Well I don't want to discourage you so quickly and I'm happy to see you doing more research. What I meant for BLOPS 2 is after you do it they will most likely see the stat changes and ban although I'm not sure completely as I've never modded BLOPS 2. I don't wanna get banned.

I would definitely ask around some more, mainly with people who mod BLOPS 2, to see if doing slight prestige lobbies will get you caught or not. So keep searching!
