So please somebody with experience help me.

EDIT: My PS3 says it's on 4.31 in the system information but when I try to sign in, it tells me to update.
When I go to update, it says I'm on the current firmware. Please help.

You wont screw anything up if u wanna go online, but if you wanna RTE, you need to go DEX, and with that u can screw something up.

And watch out bans when using 3.55/4.x CFW's online. :p

You can go online with 4.21 rex without any special tools etc.
