I could not not get online so after hours or researching i found a update to 4.31 cfw. Now i can play online but I can only play old games. When I try to start a game it gives me an error 80010017. Is this because of the update? and if so how can i get back down to 3.55 cfw? and take it easy on me im new to the ps3 jailbreaking world! If someone could help i would greatly appreciate it! You should put sen enabler/disabler and put it on the ps3 the spoof it to 4.31

Your problem is that you are using a 3.55 fix lol. Delete your game data and install the regular updates, everything should work fine. Sadly, if you updated to 4.31 you cannot re-update to 3.55. You will need an e3 flasher or use a downgrade service.

resign your eboots with the new keys of 4.xx
your old games are signed with old keys..this is why they dint start... you can downgrade with a pup called "999"DOWNGRADER.PUP of rebug..look here on ngu for tuts..

Haha, Better not use any homebrew whilst signed in or else CONSOLE BAN! If you want to play a game like Black Ops 2 it requires a fix, but you will most likely get banned for just using a fix....
