Now, I haven't paid attention for over a year to the whole jailbreak scene, I'd like to know how and what to do.
How do I install roger 4.30 or something which everyone tells me to use. I'll rep anyone who helps/links to some tutorials. I'm clueless.

Yea, rebug is good, dont do rebug 4.30, its not that good... same with 3.55 rebug

How does one install this? Also can it do that trophy hack and can it go online, only things I really need.

I recommend using either of these CFW'S, you can install this on any 3.55 OFW/CFW just download the pup file & install it over 3.55 OFW/CFW

you can do the trophy hack & yes you can go online but its only recommended just to sync your trophies if you go online using homebrew i.e. multiman, iris manager etc. you will get banned same as if you play games online like BOPS2 you will certainly get banned

Wow the 4.30 cfw's are just straight up installed on 3.55 ofw? I thought I'd have to go through so many hoops or something =D.

With the trophies all I intend on doing is getting them, logging on, syncing, logging out. If I play a backup/downloaded game offline, any way of getting banned or any precautions I should take NOT to get banned?

I'd say take Rebug 4.21 cause you have much options like switching between CEX/DEX.
but make sure you have activated Toogle Qa before installing the CFW. Just be sure.

I think you're mad, I asked a question and you were too much of an arrogant prick to answer it. I don't know if you've realised but almost 99% of the questions in this section would be gone if the search function would work, I tried twice and tried manually finding what I needed but the whole section is full of PSUNBAN LOL CONSOLE ID PLS. At least Rath, Bichote and a few others are willing to help :-)

Sorry to say this but if you send a 3.55 OFW PS3 I think Sony updates the PS3 to the latest firmware.
