Modem--------Lag switch------------router-------------ps3.

When i flip the switch it does not sign me out straight away, so i guess thats a good thing. But when i try to test it on a game such as tekken tag 2, it freezes the screen as soon as i flip the switch. Ive seen people using lag switches on me give me a lot of lag, but never a screen freeze. Could it be, that instead of the green wire, the orange wire needs to be cut ?
