Post: Multiman BRICKED MY PS3!!!!!! :( help!
03-18-2013, 07:24 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I got my ps3 fixed after the " 3.40" stuck problem. But now it's dead. It happened when I was copying a mw2 patch to my usb on multiman and when I was finished, I clicked on "Quit Multiman".

2 sec after, the PS3 shutdown instantly and didn't show any light on the power button. I took out the power cable and put it back again and it was showing red light. I tried to start it but it won't boot up. It oly beeps for 3 second and then shuts down. :( What to do? Any suggestions? Happy

yeah, that's a brick. you're f*cked man, good luck.

What were you doing exactly in MultiMAN? did you slip up on the controller or something?

hahahaha... Nothing spesial, I was copying a MW2 patch from my HDD to USB. And when I clicked on "Quit Multiman" ( Quit to XMB) It suddenly turned off the ps3. BTW will it work if I use a E3?

Did it have a different extension to what it's supposed to have...? .NORBIN or .NANDBIN would explain it... I doubt it did, haha!

If I was you, I would ask deank (creator of MM), and ask him what the problem is. he'd advise you on what to do - I don't know what type of code runs in his app...

maybe you're just unlucky. ask deank.

I think it's NORBIN, but do you why "ORBITAL-01" asked me if I had flash from rebug toolbox?

there's a possible chance of reviving your PS3 with a flasher, if you have a flasher..

so wait, explain *exactly* what you were doing step-by-step before your PS3 messed up?

MultiMan had nothing to do with it. MM just crashed and you unplugged your PS3, which isn't a very smart thing to do. If all you were doing in MM is changing a patch, you definitely did something other than that, hardware or otherwise. That's not like any kind of brick I've seen, looks like some hardware issue.

NO, it didn't crash. Like I said earlier. I clicked on "Quit MM" and then Pang.. IT Shut down.
