I was looking around to buy a 3.55 CFW console, and the guy i'm planning to purchase it from said it's on 4.40 CFW, is there a big difference?

i read this link i think you still need a CFW to install though.

To be sure you don't download a shit new CFW, wait a few weeks or month(s). When there are stable builds.

The guy i was buying the console off said the CFW was 4.40, not sure what he means by that when his advertisement said 3.55 CFW

the console has to be originally a 3.55 cfw, there is alot of bugs with the new cfw, if i was you i would stay away from that one as sataq said there not stable builds yet
