Post: How can I play PS2 games on my jaibroken PS3?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm kinda newb to all that PS2 bang bong... My PS3 is running REBUG 4.21 CEX, and it is Backwards compatible (What does that mean) I really need some help here Smile

Backwards compatible means you can play actual PS2 discs on your PS3. So you can either play them like that or you could download a PS2 classic.

Okey, but is backwards compatible a thing you do in the motherboard or what?

Yeah there's a certain chip on the motherboard that allows you to play them. There's no way to play PS2 games from the disc on non backwards compatible PS3s.

There is a post... i will link if i can find it again... you can download ps2 games on your ps3 and play them
