I can get it into recovery mode, but when I click on "System Update," my ps3 freezes. Does anybody know the solution?

I tried searching already so I decided to ask here aha. And I did, but I forgot that I had downgraded back down to 4.21 :/

hey i am on 4.21 rebug and i am online right now i downloaded 4.21 spoofer for 4.40 and i am not sure how to fix that but you should rebuild your data or restore your setting it will work like that

a u should try to downgrade to 3.55.4 if u had toggle qa flag on when u upgraded which you should of then u can go ahead and put 3.55.4 rex in and downgrade then upgrade to 4.21 again and use the right spoofer if it gives u a error download 3.55.5 999 downgrader then it will work for sure good luck

I didn't know they had a 4.40 CFW already, and if it barely came out why would you try to be the 1st ones to do it? I would have waited and see what it was doing to people's ps3's and then decide to put it or not.

It wasn't a 4.40 cfw, it was Rebug's 4.40 spoofer to be able to sign in
