I'm running on 4.31 just plain Sony update, Can someone please describe to me what a CFW is, how I can use them for 4.31 (If I can), What I can do with it, Will I get banned playing on MW2, and what's a good one?
P.S. I am completely new to PS3 Modding\Jailbreaking, I have no clue what OFW's are, and I don't want to buy an E3 Flasher.

yes you need to get an e3 flasher to downgrade your ps3 so you can put cfw on it but if you dont get an e3 flasher then you cant put a cfw on a 4.31 ofw. since 3.56+ cfw has been dead. the only way for you is a e3 flasher an i would only do it if you know what your doing because you need to open your ps3 up an install it on the motherboard which can be risky for you probably. or you can wait till they make a new cfw for 4.31 ofw if that ever happens over wise your screwed an no jailbreak for you.
