Post: help to get out from 3.55 dex

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hello all,

i have a cfw ps3 that was on 4.21 dex ... i downgraded it to 3.55 dex and now i want to go back to 4.21 rex but it wont let me i get data is corrupted from the xmb and when i go to the recovery menu it wont find the update ..

please help

i have been stuck on it for long time ..

you need to convert back..have any backup files??like CEX-FLASHEID0.NORBIN or else..??

yeah i got them

and when i go to the rebug tool and go to the cex/dex tab it says please install REBUG frimaware to access these functions

so you are now on wich 3.55 dex??cfw dex by rogero?or a standart dex by sony?

and i used this tut b4 You must login or register to view this content. but when i go to multiman and @ this step Open MultiMan and go to File Manager, locate /Dev_USB000 and Install " CEX.EID0.NORBIN "
when i double tap the X button to install it says this operation is not alowed

start mm..go to file manager...go to dev_usb00X...double X on your CEX-FLASHEID0.NORBIN file...if you get asked press all time YES..

.. i tried the way u told but still the same.. now i tried the link u gave me reached till step 4 and when i type c2d.exe eid0 flashdex.bin flashcex.bin 84 and press enter i get wrong format of EID key file : 16777216 bytes <16mb> expected but 251396096 found!


any ideas ? ?

ok you have a wrong backup..you have a nand or a nor.bin file??

i have a .bin file

i have managed to fix this now i get

"EID key: 48 bytes (eid0)
Flash size: 240 MB NAND (flashdex.bin)
ERROR: Input Flash file is not valid!"
