(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I need to know if its possible to install a CFW over an OFW with recovery menu if not can I edit the files so it won't corrupt at 71%?

You need 3.55 firmware ps3 to install any CFW.

As long as you're on 3.55 or lower, you can just install from the XMB, or recovery mode if wanted.
